Roller ski maintenance
1. Cleaning: Start by cleaning the roller skis to remove dirt and grime. Use a damp cloth to wipe the skis.
2. Inspection of bindings and wheels: Check that the binding mechanism works correctly. Make sure the wheels are intact and the rubber is free from cracks or damage.
3. Lubrication: Lubricate the binding mechanism with suitable lubricant (PREMIUM GREASE) to ensure smooth movement and extended durability.
4. Wheel maintenance: Watch the video (Video) if you are unsure how to disassemble the rear wheels. Apply grease (PREMIUM GREASE) to the rear axle and preferably to the outside of the ball bearing between the tire washer and the ball bearing. This increases the durability of the internal components of the wheel. Do NOT lubricate ball bearings with oil, as this reduces their lifespan.
5. Replacement of worn parts: If the wheels or other parts are worn or damaged, they should be replaced with new ones to maintain performance and safety.
Storage: After servicing, roller skis should be stored in a dry place and protected from moisture.
